Daniel Phillips

Originally Texas born, I lived the majority of my life in Shreveport, Louisiana, ending up in Baton Rouge. I am single, with no wife or kids, but I’m not alone. I am surrounded by a very large extended family. We have a saying in Louisiana, “There is no such thing as a friend. You are either family/framily or an acquaintance.”

I enjoy water skating and everything water, snowboarding, and the outdoors, spending as much time as I can out there. I consider myself a good dancer. And I enjoy cooking. We’re famously known, down here in Louisiana, with food. It’s a way of life. Anyone who has been able to eat the food at ProLux definitely knows what comes from the kitchen when Daniel cooks.

After working in the oil fields, in March of 2024, I became acquainted with ProLux. This company is different to me. More than anything, it’s the community bond that’s formed when like-minded people come together. As an employee, ProLux allows you to become yourself; and knowing what works for one, doesn’t work for all. Having a voice as soon as you walk in the door, new-hire or veteran, speaks volumes of the opportunity for growth.

I turned 40 on March 25, and my goal is to be debt free this year, buying a house, having multiple investments and streams of money coming in. I believe, in the world, if you don’t give you can never receive. My greatest passion in life is giving back.

My favorite quotes: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”“What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.” And,“You must be willing to make a choice, to take a chance, or your life will never change.”

At the end of the day, just enjoy life. Always remain humble. Count your blessings. Clear your head space, because to me, that’s what dreams are made of. Don’t let that man in the mirror tell yourself YOU CAN’T do something. Change those words to I CAN, and you don’t ever HAVE TO do anything… you GET TO do everything; you’ll notice that your life will shift dramatically.
